Overview:
VK 102 is the best high-end air decontamination solution on the market, combining a series of mechanical filters including a 50mm Nano silver HEPA, a powerful sirocco fan and the patented Reactor Chamber. Thanks to its powerful fan and the largest Reactor Chamber of our range, the VK102 is perfect for Hospital wards, Intensive Care Units, critical care rooms, quarantine/containment rooms and other medical installations, dentists, classrooms, communal areas, offices, hotel lobbies, waiting rooms, restaurants, commercial spaces, elderly homes, childcare spaces, mass congregation spaces, laboratories, veterinary surgeries, Government buildings, leisure facilities, factories and so on. (Inclusive of reactor chamber, pre-filter, HEPA Filter 35mm & Carbon Filters 20mm).
Maintenance:
VK 102 pre filters need to be cleaned on a weekly basis in order to keep the unit working at maximum efficiency. Not cleaning the pre filter over an extended period of time could lead to fan failure.
Open front cover.
- Remove pre-filter case from filter case and separate from carbon filter and HEPA filter.
- Clean the pre-filter with a vacuum cleaner.
- All our units have integrated timers and will display a warning message when it’s time to change certain consumables.
- All filters can be very easily changed by the client. The reactor cell can also be changed by the client, but it does require a bit of technical knowledge.
Installation:
The VK 102 is a plug and play unit and does not require specialized installation. However, placement of this and any other Viruskiller™ for that matter, is extremely important. The unit must be placed in such a way that the airflow is maximized.
Key points to consider:
- The fan needs to have the space necessary to draw the contaminants in the room away from the breathing zone and into the bottom of the unit. Do not block this airflow with furniture or anything else.
- Do not place it near airflow disruptors such as doors that are constantly being opened or open windows.
- The VK 102 has maximum efficiency when placed right in the middle of the room when placed with the back against the wall in spaces of up to 100 sqm.
