Radic8 VIRUSKILLER™ Air Decontamination Technology (VK401)
Overview:
The perfect clean air technology for medium to large rooms. Combining pre filter, HEPA filter, activated carbon and the reactor cell of 8 super UVC lamps with 40 TiO2 hexagon filters makes it the ultimate solution for spaces up to 60 square meters.
VK 401 is a great choice for installing in:
Communal areas, Wards, Offices, Hotel Corridors, Waiting Rooms, Elderly Homes, Childcare Spaces, Medical Installations, Laboratories, Veterinary Surgeries, Government Buildings, Leisure Facilities. The VK 401 is the perfect solution for standard size dental surgeries (~20 sqm) as it can recycle the air in between patients.
Low running costs:
- Simple installation and maintenance.
- Free standing.
- Inclusive of reactor chamber, pre-filter, HEPA Filter 20mm & Carbon Filters 15mm.
Deflectors:
Used to direct the flow of air coming from an AC unit, toward the ceiling and to the other side of the room. This way, by the time the airflow gets to the other side, it will go down and because it will be weaker, it will get picked up by the Viruskiller’s airflow.
Installation:
The VK 401 is a plug and play unit and does not require specialized installation. However, placement of this and any other Viruskiller™ for that matter, is extremely important. The unit must be placed in such a way that the airflow is maximized.
Key points to consider:
- The fan needs to have the space necessary to draw the contaminants in the room away from the breathing zone and into the bottom of the unit. Do not block this airflow with furniture or anything else.
- Do not place it near airflow disruptors such as doors that are constantly being opened or open windows.
- In a dental surgery, make sure the contaminated airflow does not go directly towards and past the dental assistant.
