Bluetooth with NFC, AirPlay, streaming via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, Internet radio, CD, USB and analogue tuner - the Denon CEOL RCD-N9 has got the lot: plus it sounds great, too!
Plenty of streaming options
Streaming sources have multiple ways to connect to the Denon CEOL RCDN9. From your mobile device there’s a choice of Apple’s AirPlay or Bluetooth, and with NFC (Near Field Communication) also standard, connecting your compatible smartphone or tablet could be just a swipe away. Connectivity to your home network is via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and compatible files include MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC 192/24, WAV 192/24, AIFF 192/24, and ALAC 96/24.
Internet radio and Spotify Connect
A further advantage with the net connectivity is the option of listening to internet radio. With access to thousands of stations from around the globe, you’ll never be stuck for a radio station to listen to! This Denon also has Spotify Connect, which uses your existing Spotify account but seamlessly transfers it between sources. So listen on the move, then transfer to the Denon when you get home.
USB, Optical, and RCA phono
Up front there’s a USB socket. Compatible with most iPod/iPhones, it offers a convenient way of listening to music stored on your iPhone, iPod or USB storage device. Other connections include an RCA phono input and two optical digital inputs, ideal for connecting your TV, Blu-ray player, games console or other compatible source. Finally, there’s a subwoofer output, making this the ideal system to drive a sub/sat speaker package.
CD Player And FM/AM Tuner
As you’d expect from leading hi-fi brand, Denon, the CEOL RCDN9 features a better-than-average CD player and tuner. The CD player gives a typically full-bodied sound, with great depth and realism. The RDS FM/AM tuner has a similarly impressive sound quality and is an ideal back-up to the internet stations.
