7.2 channel 4K Ultra HD AV receiver with 95W per channel, HDMI (8in / 2out with eARC). Supports 3D audio formats Dolby Atmos®, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology, DTS:X™, and DTS Virtual:X®. Works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri for seamless voice control.

Award-winning Denon sound
Although packed with the latest surround sound and networking technology, Denon still puts sound quality first. It’s for this reason they’ve enjoyed constant success with their multi-award-winning AV receiver range. Pure Direct circuitry and high-grade audio components mark the AVRX2600H out as a discerning choice for music and movie soundtrack lovers. Quality engineering means a more detailed and lifelike sound with ultra-low levels of distortion.

Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS Neural:X for cinematic sound
Dolby Atmos uses a ceiling or upwards firing speakers to produce a multi-dimensional, immersive sound that’s a match for the finest cinemas. DTS:X literally pushes the boundaries of what you can expect from home cinema. It renders images in three dimensions that conventional processing can’t match. DTS Neural:X upmixer supports Dolby formats, giving you DTS surround whatever the format.

Extra height, without the speakers – Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization and DTS Virtual:X
It’s not always possible to accommodate Atmos height speakers, which is when Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization comes in handy. Play any Dolby format and enjoy a more immersive sound with virtual height enhancement – using your existing speakers. DTS Virtual:X also creates a more enveloping sound from any DTS codec. Compatible with 2, 5.1 or 7.1 speaker configurations, DTS Virtual:X gives the impression of height and immersive sound.

Voice control via Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices
Controlling a sophisticated AV receiver like this can be baffling for some members of the family, which is why Denon has made it compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices. Simply download the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill app and then just ask Alexa or the Google Assistant to perform functions such as volume and source selection. Using the Apple Home App, Siri’s voice control from your Apple iOS device brings added functionality over AirPlay 2 – including grouping devices.

HEOS built-in – for the finest multi-room audio
HEOS multi-room music systems connect together by dual-band Wi-Fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest of homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the AVR-X2600H is ready to go as a single ‘zone’ without any further adaptors.

Control it all with the HEOS app
Once you’ve set up your HEOS speaker system, you can stream music effortlessly via the dedicated HEOS app. Available for Apple iOS, Android and Amazon Kindle, the app not only lets you stream your stored music but also Internet radio services and popular streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster and Deezer.

Support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, and eARC
Ideal for pairing with your quality video sources, the AVR-X2600H is compatible with an extensive range of formats. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby, HLG and HDCP 2.2, which means you can play UHD Blu-ray discs and stream UltraHD video in the highest quality. It’s also compatible with the latest eARC HDMI connectivity for enhanced TV to AVR features.

4K UHD upscaling and pass-through
Connect a standard Blu-ray player of other Full HD sources and enjoy upscaling to 4K UHD. This maximizes the quality of your video sources and gets close to true 4K on your 4K TV. The HDMI sockets allow 4K pass-through, for hassle-free switching and viewing without the receiver needing to be on.

Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, DLNA and built-in wi-fi for the complete networking experience
With both Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 connectivity it’s easy to connect all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. The Denon also comes with wi-fi, Internet radio, and DLNA. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or wi-fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via vTuner as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect Premium Spotify account required). DLNA compatibility lets you stream from other sources such as your laptop or NAS drive.

Connect more – including a turntable
As well as eight HDMI inputs, including one at the front, the Denon also has a wide range of other AV connectivity. Older AV sources are catered for with component and composite inputs. Optical digital inputs are ideal for connecting older devices or upgrading the sound from a compatible CD/Network player. Four analog inputs are perfect for Hi-Fi components, with the dedicated MM phono input ideal for plugging in a turntable.
